Lexus has released the price list for the 2027 Lexus TZ450e (new all-electric three-row SUV). The base model of the lineup begins at $64,050 with an estimated maximum range of 315 miles.
Lexus stated that the production model of the TZ450e will have lower horsepower than what they had initially advertised. The TZ450e was originally stated to have 402 horsepower; however, the standard version will now provide 308 horsepower. Three different models of the TZ450e will be offered: Premium, Premium Touring and Luxury.
The Premium trim level is expected to arrive late in 2026. Both the Premium Touring and Luxury trims are expected to arrive in early 2027.
2027 Lexus TZ450e Premium Starts at $64,050
2027 Lexus TZ450e Premium costs $64,050. The 2027 Lexus TZ450e Premium features a dual motor system and a 77-kWh battery. Lexus predicts that the Premium model will have an estimated range of 253 miles on its battery.
Lexus has stated that the Premium model will produce 308 hp which is significantly less than the 402 hp that was originally reported for the TZ450e.
Lexus plans to introduce the Premium model to the United States before any other models in the 2027 Lexus TZ450e lineup. Deliveries of the Premium model are scheduled to begin at the end of this year.
TZ450e Premium Touring Has the Longest Range
The 2027 Lexus TZ450e Premium Touring starts at $72,050 and uses a larger 96-kWh battery.
Its estimated range reaches 315 miles, making it the longest-range version in the lineup. The Premium Touring also uses 20-inch wheels.
Power remains at 308 horsepower, so the larger battery is primarily reflected in the range rather than a higher output figure.
The Premium Touring is scheduled to arrive in early 2027 alongside the Luxury trim.
TZ450e Luxury Starts at $80,550
The Luxury model of the TZ450e (the base model) will be priced at $80,550. This price point will place the Luxury model in first place among the other two models (Premium Touring and Premium Touring Plus) when they first come out.
The Luxury model uses the exact same 96 kWh battery as the Premium Touring, however it has a greater estimated range of 279 miles. The reason why there is a difference in the estimated range is due to the fact that the Luxury model has 22 inch wheels whereas the Premium Touring model has 20 inch wheels.
In terms of power output, the standard version of the Luxury model produces 308 horsepower.
Lexus Reduced the Standard Power Output
The biggest change from the original announcement concerns power.
Lexus initially announced 402 horsepower for the TZ450e. The production version now has 308 horsepower in its standard configuration.
That puts the 2027 Lexus TZ450e below the power figure originally associated with the model. Lexus is still planning a performance upgrade for the Luxury version that can bring output to 402 horsepower in 2027.
The 402-hp figure therefore remains part of the TZ450e lineup, but it will not be the standard output when the SUV first arrives.
Lexus TZ450e Will Arrive Before Related Toyota and Subaru SUVs
The 2027 Lexus TZ450e shares its three-row EV platform with related Toyota and Subaru models.
The TZ is expected to reach the U.S. first. Toyota’s Highlander and Subaru’s Getaway have been delayed to 2027 and will arrive as 2028 model-year vehicles.
That leaves Lexus scheduled to introduce its version of the three-row electric SUV before the related Toyota and Subaru models.
2027 Lexus TZ450e Range and Pricing
The three trims use two battery sizes and have different range estimates.
| Trim | Starting Price | Battery | Estimated Range | Power |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TZ450e Premium | $64,050 | 77 kWh | 253 miles | 308 hp |
| TZ450e Premium Touring | $72,050 | 96 kWh | 315 miles | 308 hp |
| TZ450e Luxury | $80,550 | 96 kWh | 279 miles | 308 hp |
The 2027 Lexus TZ450e Premium has the lowest price and smallest battery. The Premium Touring adds the 96-kWh battery and reaches the lineup’s highest range estimate.
The Luxury uses the same battery as the Premium Touring but has a lower range estimate because of its 22-inch wheels.
TZ450e Enters a Growing Three-Row EV Market
The 2027 Lexus TZ450e’s initial cost is similar to that of many other three row electric SUVs. The Kia EV9 and Hyundai Ioniq 9 are priced in the low $60,000 range, whereas the Cadillac Vistiq and Volvo EX90 are priced in the high $70,000 range.
The TZ450e Premium begins at $64,050 and the Luxury goes up to $80,550. This places Lexus’ offerings throughout much of the three row electric SUV market.
2027 Lexus TZ450e Arrives With Three Trims
The 2027 Lexus TZ450e is scheduled to begin production with the Premium, Premium Touring and Luxury Trim levels. There are also expected to be price ranges for these trim levels which are estimated to run from approximately $64,050 up to $80,550.
As well, the estimated range for each of these trim levels is expected to run from approximately 253-315 miles.
The first 2027 Lexus TZ450e models are scheduled to arrive late in 2026, with the Premium Touring and Luxury following in early 2027. The production SUV also brings a lower standard power figure than the 402 horsepower Lexus originally announced.
