The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is priced from $37,065 and goes on sale this fall. The SR trim with the Technology package lands at dealers first at $43,065 — the rest of the lineup arrives in early 2027.
e-Power has been in Japanese and European Rogues for years. American buyers are getting it for the first time. Nissan retuned it for US roads — longer highway stretches, higher cruising speeds, different stop-and-go patterns than Japanese city driving.
How This Hybrid Is Different From Every Other One
Every other hybrid SUV in this class — RAV4 Hybrid, CR-V Hybrid, Tucson Hybrid — has the petrol engine physically connected to the driven wheels. At certain speeds it takes over from the electric motor. Drivers don’t feel it happen but the engine is turning the driveshaft.
The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid never does that. The 1.5-liter three-cylinder has one job — spinning a generator to keep the battery charged. The wheels are driven entirely by two electric motors, one front, one rear. The petrol engine never touches the driveshaft.
Power hits immediately when you press the accelerator. Lift off and the car slows without touching the brakes. No cable, no charging point. The petrol engine takes care of the battery by itself.
225 horsepower from two electric motors. All-wheel drive on every 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid trim, no extra cost.
2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid Fuel Economy
Nissan hasn’t been through EPA testing yet. Their own estimate is 40 mpg city, 36 highway and 38 combined. RAV4 Hybrid gets 39 mpg combined officially. CR-V Hybrid gets 40 mpg. The 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is going after both of those numbers.

Screens and Technology
Base SV trim gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Step up to the SR with Technology package or Platinum and the screen becomes a 14.3-inch unit running Google’s operating system — Google Maps, Gemini AI and the Play Store all built in.
Every 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid gets Qi2 magnetic wireless charging as standard. That’s the newer, faster wireless standard the current iPhone lineup uses. Platinum adds a second wireless charging pad in the rear and a 10-speaker Bose audio system.
ProPilot Updates
ProPilot Assist — Nissan’s hands-free highway driving system — gets new hardware on the 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid. New front radar sensor, wider angle front camera, updated software. Nissan says lane centering improved and the system handles highway curves more confidently.
New additions include automatic lane changing and Hands-off Traffic Jam Support. The second one lets drivers take both hands off the wheel in slow-moving traffic on a divided highway while ProPilot is active.
Two new braking features as well. e-Pedal enables one-pedal driving — lift off the accelerator and the car brakes itself, same as most EVs. Smooth Stop manages brake pressure to reduce the head-jerk that series hybrids can produce when the petrol engine cycles.
Space and Family Details
Nissan claims 40.9 inches of front headroom — more than any other hybrid compact SUV according to them. Rear doors open to 90 degrees, noticeably wider than a standard door.
Five LATCH anchor points across the rear seat. Three child seats fit simultaneously including the centre position. Most cars in this segment only have anchors at the outer two positions.
31 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Fold them down and you get 66. Nissan says the 2027 Nissan Rogue Hybrid can tow up to 1,500 pounds.
