Callaway Waldoch Silverado Packs 602HP Supercharged V-8 — Only 100 Launch Edition Trucks Available

Callaway Cars and Waldoch Crafts just announced a street truck collaboration built on the Chevy Silverado 1500. The Callaway Waldoch Silverado takes GM’s 6.2-liter V-8, bolts a Roots-type supercharger on top and produces 602 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque sent entirely to the rear wheels. Only 100 Launch Edition examples will be sold — through authorized Chevy dealers — at pricing that hasn’t been announced yet.

Callaway needs no introduction to anyone who follows performance cars. The company made its name turbocharging BMWs — with help from this publication — before shifting focus to GM vehicles and superchargers. Waldoch Crafts is a Minnesota-based customizer known for camper vans and off-road trucks. Different specialties. One Silverado.

602 Horsepower From a Supercharged Small-Block

The SC602 package is the heart of the Callaway Waldoch Silverado. A 2650cc Roots-type supercharger sits on top of the GM 6.2-liter small-block V-8 — the same basic engine found across the GM truck lineup — pushing output to 602 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque. A Callaway exhaust made from 304 stainless steel handles the exit with a selectable sport mode that means exactly what you think it means.

For context — GM’s own supercharged LT4 V-8 in the Cadillac Escalade-V makes 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet. More power from the factory route. But the Escalade-V sends that power through all four wheels and carries considerably more weight. The Callaway Waldoch Silverado sends 602 horsepower to the rear axle only and carries a truck’s worth less mass than the full-size luxury SUV. The Escalade-V hit 60 mph in 4.3 seconds in Car and Driver testing. The Silverado could match or beat that number despite the power deficit — and smoky burnouts are a given.

Suspension, Brakes and Wheels That Match the Engine

The Callaway Waldoch Silverado doesn’t stop at the engine. A lowered suspension runs coil-overs up front with adjustable dampers all around — the handling setup matches what 602 horsepower to the rear wheels actually requires rather than leaving the factory suspension to cope with the additional output.

22-inch Callaway-Waldoch wheels wrapped in 305/45 Toyo Proxes ST III performance all-season tires handle the contact patch. Stopping duty falls to a Callaway big-brake package — six-piston calipers up front gripping 15-inch rotors. Six-piston front brakes on a truck built to do burnouts. The priorities here are clear.

Stealth Exterior and Upgraded Interior

Waldoch handles the visual side of the Callaway Waldoch Silverado and the approach is restrained. Almost everything on the outside is color-keyed — rocker extensions, custom grille, the works. The truck in the launch photos wears all-black with red mirror caps — subtle enough to pass unnoticed until the V-8 announces itself.

Buyers can choose from a select number of exterior colors. For an additional charge Waldoch will apply the tuxedo treatment — painting the top half of the truck black regardless of what color the lower half wears. Both options work. The all-black launch truck works better.

Inside the Callaway Waldoch Silverado the upholstery upgrades to a leather and Alcantara combination. Both company names appear prominently — a serialized plaque inside and a VIN-etched plate under the hood. Documentation from both Callaway and Waldoch ships with the truck. The kind of provenance paperwork that matters when the time comes to sell.

100 Trucks. No Price. More Coming.

Waldoch and Callaway are selling 100 Launch Edition Callaway Waldoch Silverado trucks through authorized Chevrolet dealers. Pricing hasn’t been announced — the Waldoch website has a configurator that leads to an inquiry form for interested buyers.

The partnership doesn’t stop here. Both companies say future products are coming — including versions based on GM SUVs. A supercharged Callaway-Waldoch Tahoe or Suburban would follow the same formula applied to a larger footprint. For buyers who need more space than a Silverado provides that announcement is worth watching for.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Callaway Waldoch Silverado

What is the Callaway Waldoch Silverado?

Callaway Cars and Waldoch Crafts built a supercharged Silverado 1500 street truck together — 602 horsepower and 560 pound-feet from a Roots-type supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, all going to the rear wheels. They’re making 100 of them. Chevrolet dealers sell them. Price hasn’t been announced.

How much power does the Callaway Waldoch Silverado make?

602 horsepower and 560 pound-feet from a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 — Roots-type blower, 2650cc displacement. Rear wheels only. No AWD.

How does the Callaway Waldoch Silverado compare to the Cadillac Escalade-V?

Escalade-V makes 682 horsepower to the Silverado’s 602. On paper the Cadillac wins. In practice the Silverado sends every one of those 602 horses to the rear wheels only, weighs considerably less and has no luxury SUV bulk to drag around. The Escalade-V hit 60 mph in 4.3 seconds in Car and Driver testing. The Silverado could beat that number with 80 fewer horsepower.

How many Callaway Waldoch Silverados are being made?

100 Launch Edition trucks. All sold through authorized Chevrolet dealers.

What does the tuxedo option mean?

An additional cost paint treatment that paints the top half of the Callaway Waldoch Silverado black regardless of the lower body color — creating a two-tone appearance. Standard colors are available without the tuxedo treatment.

How much does the Callaway Waldoch Silverado cost?

Pricing hasn’t been announced. The Waldoch website has a configurator that leads to an inquiry form for interested buyers.

Will Callaway and Waldoch build more vehicles together?

Yes. Both companies confirmed future products are planned — including versions based on GM SUVs. Specific models and timing haven’t been announced.

Who are Callaway Cars and Waldoch Crafts?

Callaway Cars started turbocharging BMWs before shifting to GM vehicles and superchargers — best known for Corvette performance builds. Waldoch Crafts is a Minnesota-based customizer specializing in camper vans and off-road trucks. The Callaway Waldoch Silverado is their first joint product.

602 supercharged horsepower to the rear wheels of a Silverado. Six-piston brakes. Adjustable suspension. 100 trucks. The Callaway Waldoch Silverado is exactly what a street truck built by a supercharger specialist and a custom truck builder should be — straightforward about its intentions and built to back them up. SUV versions are coming. Price is still a mystery. The configurator on Waldoch’s website is the only path to an answer on that right now.
