Chrysler Arrow and Arrow Cross Could Start at $25,000 — Cheaper Than Stellantis Promised

Chrysler’s US showroom has one model in it, the Pacifica minivan. One segment, one body style, nothing else.

Automotive News put the Chrysler Arrow and Arrow Cross at $25,000 this week. Kuniskis told the market under $30,000 when Stellantis first went public with both models. The Automotive News figure lands $5,000 below his original guidance.

Chrysler Arrow Comes as a Coupe Fastback and Arrow Cross as a Traditional SUV

Two vehicles, two shapes, one price target.

Chrysler Arrow is the fastback — lower roofline, coupe stance, built for looks over luggage. Fiat Grizzly Fastback platform underneath. Arrow Cross is the boxy one — taller, more upright, more boot space, Fiat Grizzly SUV underneath. Same price bracket, different buyer.

Both come out of a production facility in Morocco on Stellantis’ Smart Car platform before being shipped to the US. Morocco keeps the build costs down. That is how a Chrysler badge ends up on a $25,000 window sticker.

$5,000 Cheaper Than Stellantis Originally Said

Kuniskis said under $30,000 when Stellantis first went public with these models. Automotive News came out with $25,000 this week. Stellantis has not pushed back on that number.

Honda HR-V is $24,800. Toyota Corolla Cross is $24,410. Hyundai Kona is $24,500. Chrysler Arrow comes in at $25,000 — the highest of the four. The difference between the Arrow and the cheapest option in that group is $590. Eight years ago Chrysler had nothing to put in this comparison at all.

The 200 sedan died in 2017. Since then Chrysler has had nothing in this price range. Eight years is a long time to sit out the most competitive segment in the US market.

If the $25,000 figure holds, Chrysler becomes the most affordable American nameplate in the Stellantis portfolio — sitting below Dodge, Jeep, and Ram at the entry level for the first time.

Arrow and Arrow Cross Sit Below the Airflow

The Airflow electric crossover targets under $40,000 according to Kuniskis. Chrysler first showed it as a flagship. Now with the Chrysler Arrow and Arrow Cross priced $15,000 below it, the Airflow sits in the middle of the range rather than at the top.

Arrow and Arrow Cross at $25,000. Airflow under $40,000. Pacifica handling the minivan segment. That is three models plus a minivan — the most Chrysler has had to sell in years.

Stellantis’ own planning chief said publicly that Chrysler has “just one product.” That remark landed in 2024. The Chrysler Arrow, Arrow Cross, and Airflow are the direct answer to it.

Chrysler Is Carrying Two of Stellantis’ Nine Affordable Models

Stellantis made a public commitment — nine models under $40,000 by 2030, two of them below $30,000. Chrysler Arrow and Arrow Cross are those two.

Chrysler has the most ground to cover in this push. Dodge has the Hornet. Jeep has multiple crossovers across price points. Ram has trucks at various budgets. Chrysler had the Pacifica. Arrow and Arrow Cross are the first entry-level Chryslers in eight years.

Scott Krugger, Stellantis Head of North America Design, has talked publicly about vehicles combining crossover space with sedan efficiency. Nothing confirmed on a new sedan. But Chrysler being open to one again — after killing the 200 in 2017 — is a different conversation than the brand was having two years back.

The Pacifica got a new front end earlier this year. Those same design cues are expected to carry across to the Chrysler Arrow and Airflow — one consistent face across the lineup when everything eventually lands.

No Launch Date, No Confirmed Price

Chrysler Arrow — no official launch date. Arrow Cross — same. Airflow — same. All three sit later this decade based on current reporting.

$25,000 is where Stellantis is pointing. It is not a price tag on a window yet. Stellantis has not published confirmed pricing for either Arrow model. What Automotive News reported is the direction — not a number buyers can hold the brand to right now.
